Welcome to Bethel Barn

Nestled on a peaceful 20-acre working family farm in Monroe, NC, Bethel Barn offers a charming and scenic backdrop for weddings, celebrations, retreats, and intimate gatherings.

 

Located just 35 minutes from uptown Charlotte, 20 minutes from Waverly, and 45 minutes from Charlotte Douglas International Airport, our venue offers the perfect blend of rustic beauty and modern accessibility.

Guests will enjoy the nearby small-town charm of downtown Monroe, with its local coffee shops, boutiques, and restaurants, along with several nearby hotel options for overnight stays.

 

 

A Place Where Heaven Meets Earth

 

In the Bible, Bethel was known as the place where heaven touched earth (Genesis 28). That same spirit is the heart behind Bethel Barn. We pray that every guest who visits feels God’s presence, peace, and joy—whether you're celebrating a milestone, getting married, or gathering for fellowship.

 

 

The Setting

Bethel Barn is part of a working family farm, home to highland cows, horses, donkeys, pigs, and chickens—a favorite feature for kids and animal lovers alike! Because we care for our land and animals daily, we offer a limited number of event dates each year, creating a more personal and special experience for each event.

Our event rental season runs April through October. For summer events, we recommend early morning or evening celebrations for guest comfort.

  • Barn Interior: 1,700 sq. ft. of indoor space – comfortably seats up to 100 guests

  • Outdoor Patio: 1,200 sq. ft. concrete patio overlooking the horse pasture

  • Ceremony Lawn: Field area for outdoor weddings (portable sound system required)

 

 

Venue Features & Amenities

  • Capacity: Up to 100 guests 

  • Table & Seating Setup: Our team sets up included furniture; you're free to rearrange

  • Furniture Included: 10 six-foot tables, 2 eight-foot tables, 6 high-top tables, and 100 white folding chairs

  • Sound System: Indoor Bluetooth speaker system + mic; outdoor weddings require own sound setup

  • Restroom Access: One indoor restroom; events with 50+ guests require bathroom trailer or port-a-john (we can coordinate rental for an added fee)

  • Parking Attendant: Staff provided to greet and direct guests on arrival

  • Trash & Clean-Up: We handle post-event trash removal and assist with tear-down

  • Refrigerator: Small unit for beverages and light refreshments

  • Linens: White linen tablecloths and cloth napkins available ($150 flat rate)

  • Bug Control: We spray for flies, gnats, and mosquitoes before each event to ensure guest comfort

 

 

Party & Event Rental Packages

For events with under 50 guests (does not include on-site staff support during the event and you will need to set up the tables and chairs, we will place them in the barn for you):

  • Half-Day Rental (up to 6 hours): $350

  • Full-Day Rental (up to 12 hours): $500

For events with over 50 guests (includes on-site staff support as well as table and chair set-up):

  • Half-Day Rental (6 hours): $500 + port-a-john rental fee

  • Full-Day Rental (up to 12 hours): $1,000 + port-a-john rental fee

All rentals must end by 9:00 PM to allow time for tear-down and clean-up.

 

 

Weddings at Bethel Barn

Our wedding packages begin at $2,500 and include everything you need for a memorable and organized celebration in a peaceful, countryside setting.

All wedding packages include:

  • Full-day barn rental (up to 12 hours)

  • Bethel Barn's Day-of Wedding Coordinator 

  • 2-hour rehearsal the day before (based on availability)

  • On-site team support for setup and clean-up

  • Parking attendants

  • Access to ceremony field, barn, and patio

  • Carving the bride and grooms initials into our hitching post as a way to memorialize this special day here on our property 

Additional Wedding Info:

  • Décor, rentals, and supplies can be dropped off the day before (no setup allowed until event day, for your benefit (things blow away and get dirty or wet overnight) and for our animals’ well-being

  • Clients must supply their own tear-down support for décor and personal items

 

 

Catering & Vendors

You’re welcome to bring your own food, vendors, and decorations, or we can refer you to trusted local partners.

  • Alcohol Policy: Beer, wine, and champagne are permitted with a licensed bartender and services must end one hour before the event ends

  • Preferred Vendors: We have a list of recommended caterers, bartenders, photographers, and more
